WOOT WOOT- this four day weekend has been the BEST! How will I ever go back to waking up at the crack of dawn to complete neglected homework, staying up finishing applications, tutoring, etc... ew.

I wish it was a 365 day weekend- now that would rock... *imagination wandering.. Bliss

===============================
Thursday = interview with UPENN admin.
- my favorite girls from JSA come over to D-ville!!! haha-- so much to do... ... they came over and we were supposed to leave right away- maybe go booowling!- but no, we got hooked to the television and watched reality show after reality show...then Erika had to see "OC"... ew. this is the jist of it: "HOLY FUCK! My life sucks-- my dad married my aunt who had a kid with my grandpa who's wife had my brother... oh my god-- I'm ditching school to live in my 4th home in Portland! Hmph!" ....
this is me:  ??? *wtf
this is Erika:  *i love the guy with the weird lisp
this is jen:  riiiight
this is anish:  OOooooOOO - dude the pool guy!

after that weird fest we went around danville buying random things (balloons, popcorn, movies) and then crashed at nish's - goood times w. jsa reunion; glad erika came from boston ("hey buddy!...douuuuche..." in her classic accent)

-----------------------------------------------

FRIDAY = begged mom for mercy... did NOT want to attend another speech and debate tournament. Who won the argument? ... mom. I was going to the tournament, all right... psh-- but if i was going, I was NOT going to prepare-- muhahahha- what a rebel I am... *gasp- to not research for speech and debate!

------------------------------------------------

SATURDAY= holy crap. I won 2nd...  woot woot - not prepping goes a long way my friends...a long way indeed.
* came home and watched "chasing liberty" (sister's choice) while eating... yum yum... baja fresh...

***that's all for now-- enjoy your weekend!!!

Alan Jackson - Monday Morning Church Lyrics
You left your Bible on the dresser
So I put it in the drawer
'Cause I can't seem to talk to God without yelling anymore
And when I sit at your piano
I can almost hear those hymns
The keys are just collecting dust
But I can't close the lid

You left my heart as empty
As a Monday morning church
It used to be so full of faith and now it only hurts
And I can heart the devil whisper
"Things are only getting worse"
You left my heart as empty
As a Monday morning church

The preacher came by Sunday
Said he missed me at the service
He told me Jesus loves me
But I'm not sure I deserve it
'Cause the faithful man that you loved
Is nowhere to be found
Since they took all that he believed
And laid it in the ground

[Repeat chorus]

I still believe in Heaven
And I'm sure you've made it there
But as for me without your love, girl
I don't have a prayer

[Repeat chorus]

You left your Bible on the dresser
So I put it in the drawer

terror... worst day.

*glasses got run over... completely irreparable
*found out one of my "best friends" was talking shit about me behind my back
*had to wait in the rain for 20 minutes
*mom's being weird
*hab is too
*got yelled at by a substitute teacher (bleh)
*project =
*have 4 exams tomorrow
*only one application done... SO many more to go...

..."to be, or not to be... that is the question." Mary said that this quote, though written ages ago, is still relevant to today...I completely agree. Is it better to go through all of these hardships than to simply give up?  Is it better to be than not to be? ...

wow- life = irony.
Weird how those you wouldn't expect turn out to be your true friends... ahhhhhh- good friendship is so hard to find! May college bring new friendships into my life...

Happy Halloween!

I love how I am 17 and still trick or treating...love it.

Went driving around Danville with Kristin and Josh-- at one point, Josh pretended to be our father...he looks it... hahaha- over 6 ft... Then, we arrived at a house where the couple was all "so... what are you guys?... college drop outs?..." ... uhhhh.... hahahaha .... "you know there's a 21 age limit for trick or treating... man, you guys should take a shot or a beer-- not candy." ... Josh's ALL TOO EAGER response: "okay!"   .. hahaha- good times...

this was a Halloween to remember...

p.s: saved all the tootsie rolls for josh (he hates them) and nerds for kristin (you are what you eat)..
